Plaff-on! Suspension IP65 Pendant Lamp

Plaff-on! Suspension – robust pendant light by Marset

The Plaff-on! Suspension by Marset is a robust pendant light full of character in a clear, slightly industrial style. With its cylindrical, protective shape and warm light, it is suitable for dining tables, counters, kitchens and work areas – and, thanks to its weatherproof design, also for sheltered outdoor areas. This makes the Plaff-on! a functional yet decorative lighting centrepiece that impresses indoors and outdoors.

Design & inspiration of the Plaff-on!

The Plaff-on! comes from the designer Joan Gaspar, who has created numerous icons for Marset. Its characteristic feature is the clear, cylindrical shade, which directs the light precisely downwards while looking robust and timeless. The unpretentious, functional design makes the Plaff-on! versatile – a typical example of Marset’s well-thought-out design approach.

Finishes & colours

The Plaff-on! Suspension is available in several colours and in a weatherproof version, so it blends harmoniously into different rooms and sheltered outdoor areas. The clear cylindrical shape always remains the focus. This lets you choose the right version for every situation – simply choose your preferred finish from the dropdown.

Light & technology

The cylindrical shape of the Plaff-on! focuses the light precisely downwards and provides pleasant, low-glare light over tables and work surfaces. The robust, weatherproof design allows it to be used in sheltered outdoor areas, such as on covered terraces. This makes the Plaff-on! equally suitable as functional main lighting and as an atmospheric designer light. We recommend a warm white bulb.

Material & workmanship

The Plaff-on! is robust and carefully made: materials and surfaces are designed for long use and sheltered outdoor use. The clear cylindrical shape and the clean suspension give the light a high-quality, calm look. This keeps the Plaff-on! a reliable point of light full of character for many years – indoors and outdoors.

Use & effect

Above a dining table, counter or kitchen unit, the Plaff-on! becomes a functional centrepiece with clear, directed light. In sheltered outdoor areas it accompanies the terrace and dining area with warm light. Hung on its own it adds a calm accent; in a group it creates even, linear lighting. Its robust character suits modern and industrial interiors alike.

Can be used indoors and outdoors

Thanks to its weatherproof design, the Plaff-on! Suspension is suitable for a particularly wide range of locations: above the kitchen island, the dining table or the workbench indoors, as well as on the covered terrace or in the entrance area. This lets you create a coherent, consistent lighting concept that links indoor and outdoor areas in terms of design.

Care & installation

The Plaff-on! can be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth. We recommend installation by a qualified electrician to fix the light securely, set the ideal height and – outdoors – ensure professional installation. This keeps the Plaff-on! reliable in the long term and shows it off to its best.

Why the Plaff-on! Suspension?

The Plaff-on! combines Joan Gaspar’s clear, robust design language with versatile suitability for indoors and outdoors. Instead of interchangeable mass-produced goods, you get a weatherproof pendant light full of character that combines functional light with decorative effect. If you are looking for a robust yet elegant lighting centrepiece with real design ambition, the Plaff-on! is a long-lasting choice.
