Santorini Pendant Lamp

Santorini pendant lamp – lantern-inspired pendant light by Marset

The Santorini Pendant Lamp by Marset is reminiscent of lanterns in its shape and brings Mediterranean flair into the room. With its characteristic shade and warm light, it becomes a charming, decorative eye-catcher – above the dining table, in the kitchen, in the living area or on the covered terrace. Hung on its own or as a lively group, the Santorini spreads a cosy, inviting atmosphere with southern character.

Design & inspiration of the Santorini

The Santorini was designed by Sputnik Estudio, which was inspired by the lighting of traditional fishing boats. This maritime origin is reflected in the lantern-like, clear shape, which looks both nostalgic and modern. The combination of narrative inspiration and minimal design is typical of Marset’s emotional design approach.

Finishes & colours

The Santorini Pendant Lamp is available in several colours, so it can be adapted to your interior from understated to lively. Especially in a group and in different colours, the Santorini unfolds its Mediterranean, playful charm. The lantern-like shape always remains the defining design feature – simply choose your preferred finish from the dropdown.

Light & technology

The Santorini emits a warm, inviting light that is pleasantly diffused by its lantern-like shade. This makes it ideal as decorative mood lighting above tables and counters or as cosy lighting in living and outdoor areas. We recommend a warm white bulb for a particularly cosy light.

Material & workmanship

The Santorini is carefully made and designed for a long service life. The clear, lantern-like shape is precisely crafted and gives the light a high-quality look despite its charming character. The clean suspension ensures a harmonious overall look – the Santorini remains a decorative, likeable point of light for many years.

Use & effect

Above the dining table or in the kitchen, the Santorini becomes a cosy centrepiece; in a group and in different colours, it creates a lively, Mediterranean lighting composition. On the covered terrace or in the living area, it creates a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. Its lantern-like shape makes it a charming, narrative element.

Eine Light with mediterranem Charme

The Santorini is particularly suitable where rooms are meant to gain a warm, personal touch: above the dining area, in open-plan kitchen-diners, in restaurants or in sheltered outdoor areas. Combined with other Santorini lights in different colours, it creates a playful, harmonious lighting arrangement reminiscent of balmy summer evenings by the sea and enhances any room.

Care & installation

The Santorini can be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth. For a harmonious group installation, we recommend installation by a qualified electrician to align heights and distances optimally and ensure a secure fit. This shows off the charming, lantern-like character of the Santorini to its best.

Why the Santorini Pendant Lamp?
