Chispa Table Lamp

Chispa table lamp – the small cordless rechargeable light by Marset

The Chispa Table Lamp is the compact, completely cordless rechargeable light by Marset. Its name – Spanish for “spark” – says it all: with its warm light and lively colours, the Chispa brings a friendly spark to any room. Whether on the dining table, the bedside table, in the bathroom, on the windowsill or outdoors on the balcony and terrace – thanks to its integrated battery, the Chispa shines anywhere, without a socket. Measuring only around 6 cm in diameter and 17.8 cm in height, it is the ideal little companion that can be easily carried and placed anywhere.

As a portable light with a rechargeable battery and protection class IP44, the Chispa table lamp is robust enough for outdoor use and decorative enough for the living room. Simply charge, take it with you, set it down – done.

Design & inspiration of the Chispa Table Lamp

Characteristic of the Chispa Table Lamp is its clear, round silhouette: a slender base from which a softly glowing opal diffuser grows. The shape is minimal, appealing and timeless – a small light that exudes charm at once and fits into almost any interior. The opal white polyethylene of the diffuser distributes the light evenly and without glare, creating a pleasantly warm atmosphere.

The designer – Joan Gaspar

The Chispa was designed by Joan Gaspar and launched in 2020. Gaspar is one of the defining designers at Marset and is known for his functional, emotional approach. With the Chispa table lamp, he combines compact portability with high-quality light and a cheerful colour palette – a light that takes technology and design equally seriously.

Akku, Dimmer & Lichtqualität

The Chispa table lamp works with an integrated LED (2.7 W, 2700 K, CRI 90, 262 lm) and a rechargeable battery. You can adjust the brightness in steps using the integrated 3-step dimmer on the base. Depending on the selected level, the Chispa shines for up to 7 hours on the highest, 14 hours on the medium and up to 28 hours on the lowest level. A full charge takes about 10 hours. The warm white light with high colour rendering makes colours look natural. The charging cable is included; a plug adapter is not included. The LED is permanently integrated.

Finishes & colours

The Chispa Table Lamp is available in four expressive colours: black (RAL 9004), blue (RAL Design 230 20 20), green (RAL 6009) and orange (RAL 2010). From elegant black to deep blue and rich green to lively orange, there is a suitable version for every interior style and every mood. Simply choose your preferred colour from the dropdown.

Material & workmanship

The base of the Chispa table lamp is made of robust polycarbonate, the diffuser of opal white polyethylene. Both materials are light, shatterproof and easy to care for – ideal for a light that is moved often and also used outdoors. With protection class IP44, the Chispa is protected against splashing water and is therefore perfectly suited for the bathroom, balcony and terrace.

Use & effect

Thanks to its battery, the Chispa table lamp is completely independent of sockets: as an atmospheric table light at dinner, a small bedside reading lamp, an accent on a shelf or a cosy light outdoors. Several Chispa lights in different colours create attractive accents and can be distributed flexibly throughout the home. The compact diffuser ensures soft, pleasant light.

Why the Chispa Table Lamp?

The Chispa table lamp combines cordless freedom with genuine Marset design: a rechargeable battery with a long runtime, a practical 3-step dimmer, warm white quality light and a splash-proof housing in four cheerful colours. Instead of interchangeable mass-produced goods, you get a well-thought-out, portable designer light that works indoors and outdoors. If you are looking for a small, charming and flexible light with high-quality light, the Chispa table lamp is a choice that brings joy every day.
