Palosanto outdoor light – discreet path light by Marset
The Palosanto Outdoor Light by Marset, designed by Christophe Mathieu, exudes discretion without looking minimalist. The slim outdoor floor or bollard light provides targeted, direct light to illuminate paths, flower beds, entrances and seating areas. With its calm, vertical form, it blends elegantly into gardens and modern outdoor areas and combines functional path lighting with a refined design standard.
Sizes & finishes
The Palosanto is available in several heights: as the low version B 5/30 (30 cm), as the B 5/60 (60 cm) and as the tall B 5/83 (83 cm), which is equipped with either one or – as the B 5×2/83 – two light spots. The family is complemented by the wall version Palosanto A 5. This allows you to choose the right light height and direction for every area; simply select the version in the drop-down.
Light & protection rating
Inside, an integrated LED (LED SMD 24 V, 2.1 W or 6 W depending on the version, 2700 K, CRI90) provides warm, precise light with high colour rendering. Practical: the spotlight can be adjusted in height by up to 14 cm on the light body, so that the light output can be aligned exactly with the path or planting. Thanks to its IP65 protection rating, the Palosanto is completely weatherproof.
Material & workmanship
The light body and diffuser of the Palosanto are made of weather-resistant aluminium. The light is available in black and in a warm rust texture that blends in particularly naturally with garden and landscape settings. The “Made by Marset” workmanship stands for durability and quality even under constant outdoor use.
Use & effect
Placed along paths, the Palosanto provides orientation and safety; at seating areas and flower beds it creates atmospheric islands of light. With the different heights and the one- or two-spot versions, a varied, well-thought-out lighting concept can be realised for the entire outdoor area – functional and atmospheric at the same time.
Care & installation
The Palosanto is designed for permanent outdoor installation and should be connected by a qualified electrician. Clean it with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Thanks to IP65, the light withstands rain and splashing water and remains reliably in use for many years.
Why the Palosanto Outdoor Light?
The Palosanto combines understated design with genuine functionality: an adjustable light spot, different heights and full weather resistance. If you are looking for a high-quality, durable path and outdoor light with design credentials, the Palosanto is a well-thought-out and stylish choice.
