Atlas Wall Light

Atlas wall light – design classic by Joan Gaspar

The Atlas Wall Light is a modern classic by Marset, designed by Joan Gaspar in 2000. With its clear, minimal design language and the high-quality combination of stainless steel, polycarbonate shade and white canopy, the Atlas fits elegantly into modern and classic interiors alike. It was developed specifically for the PAR30 bulb, which disappears completely into the shade – a well-thought-out detail that ensures a particularly tidy, calm appearance.

As a timeless spotlight, the Atlas wall light impresses with directed, brilliant light and an unobtrusive, architectural presence. The included LED bulb makes it ready to use straight away.

Design & inspiration of the Atlas Wall Light

Joan Gaspar is one of the most distinguished designers in Spain. With the Atlas, he created a light that perfectly combines function and aesthetics: the compact shade focuses the light and directs it precisely, while the slender stainless steel construction remains understated. The result is a spotlight that sets accents without pushing itself into the foreground – ideal for art, shelves, work surfaces or as atmospheric lighting.

Light colour selectable: 2700 K or 3000 K

The Atlas Wall Light is available in two light colours: warm white 2700 K (740 lm) for a particularly cosy atmosphere and neutral white 3000 K (760 lm) for a clearer, fresher light. Both versions use a high-quality E27 LED PAR30 spot bulb with 9.5 W and CRI 90 for natural colour rendering – the bulb is included.

Material & workmanship

The shade is made of robust polycarbonate, the canopy of white polyamide and the body of high-quality stainless steel. This combination of materials makes the Atlas durable, easy to care for and high-quality. It is hardwired; the clean workmanship ensures a high-quality overall look that still impresses after years.

Use & effect

With its directed light, the Atlas wall light is ideal as a wall or ceiling spotlight for illuminating art, shelves, hallways and work surfaces. The PAR30 bulb disappears completely into the shade, so there is no glare and the shape remains clear. Whether warm white for cosy living spaces or neutral white for functional areas – the Atlas brings the light exactly where it is needed while adding a subtle design accent.

Why the Atlas Wall Light?

The Atlas wall light combines timeless design with practical function: a true Marset classic with an LED bulb included, ready to use straight away, in two light colours and with high-quality stainless steel workmanship. If you are looking for an elegant, unobtrusive spotlight that sets accents and brings joy for years, the Atlas is a safe choice – a piece of well-thought-out Spanish lighting design for discerning living spaces.

Vielseitig kombinierbar

The Atlas wall light is effective both on its own and in a group. Several Atlas lights side by side create a rhythmic, almost architectural impression and are ideal for evenly lighting larger areas, long walls or open-plan living and dining areas. The directed light lets you set targeted accents – for example above a sideboard, along a gallery wall or above the kitchen island. Thanks to its timeless design language and neutral stainless steel finish, the Atlas harmonises with almost any interior style, from minimalist modern to warm and homely, and remains a stylish companion in the room for years.
