Babila Wall Light

Babila wall light – sensual wall light by Marset

The Babila Wall Light by Marset impresses with its sensual, round shape. The circular wall lamp becomes a calm eye-catcher: its surface slightly reflects the surroundings, so it plays with the room and the incoming light. Thanks to its robust, weather-resistant design, the Babila is equally suitable for indoors and outdoors and provides soft, inviting light on house walls, at entrances, in hallways, in the bathroom or next to the bed. This way it combines decorative effect with real practical value and fits into modern and classic architecture alike.

Design & inspiration of the Babila

The Babila reduces the wall light to a clear, round basic shape and turns precisely this simplicity into its strength. During the day the closed disc looks like a discreet, reflective object, and in the evening like a softly glowing light source. This dual effect – object and light – is typical of Marset’s design approach, in which the focus is not on the light itself but on its effect in the room.

Finishes, sizes & colours

The Babila Wall Light is available in two sizes – 18 cm and 28 cm in diameter – making it suitable for compact and generous wall areas alike. Finishes available are brown, polished stainless steel and white, so the light can either blend in discreetly or add a shiny accent. The smaller version is suitable for accents and narrow areas, the larger one as a striking wall light. Simply choose your preferred version from the dropdown.

Light & technology

The Babila works with LED technology and emits a warm, low-glare light that gently flows across the wall. Thanks to its closed, round shape, the light has an indirect and particularly atmospheric effect. The weather-resistant design makes the light suitable for sheltered outdoor areas, so it shows to good effect on facades and covered entrances as well as indoors.

Material & workmanship

The Babila is solidly made: depending on the version, the round body comes in brown, polished stainless steel or white and is designed to last. The polished, shiny version picks up reflections from the surroundings and therefore looks particularly lively, while brown and white blend calmly and discreetly into the wall. The high-quality manufacturing ensures a high-quality look and a secure fit on the wall – indoors and outdoors.

Use & effect

On interior walls, the Babila creates a calm, homely atmosphere, for example in the hallway, the living room or on both sides of a bed. Outdoors, it accompanies entrances and facades with soft light while also acting as a decorative object. Placed in pairs or in a row, it creates a calm, even rhythm that elegantly structures walls and paths. The choice of two sizes and three surfaces makes the Babila versatile to combine and adaptable to a wide variety of interior styles.

Care & installation

The Babila is easy to care for: the surfaces can be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth, and the polished stainless steel version looks particularly brilliant. Thanks to its weather-resistant design, it is suitable for covered outdoor areas and facades. We recommend installation by a qualified electrician to ensure a secure, long-lasting fit and to bring out the even lighting effect of the round shape to its best.

Why the Babila Wall Light?

The Babila combines a timelessly round shape with versatile suitability for indoors and outdoors. Instead of interchangeable mass-produced goods, you get a wall light full of character that impresses both as a reflective object and as a soft light source – in two sizes and three surfaces. If you are looking for a calm, elegant wall light with real design ambition, the Babila is a long-lasting choice.
