Schlicht, stilvoll, filigran. SlimSophie is the classic of the label FRAUMAIER – a graphic, seemingly weightless design that has been lighting up rooms in more than 25 countries for over two decades. The Floor Lamp is a contemporary take on classic designs, combined with modern charm and the latest lighting technology.

With its small footprint of just 30 × 30 cm – hardly larger than a sheet of A4 paper – SlimSophie fits easily into any corner and generally needs little space to make an impact. The tall, slim design (total height 176 cm) looks fresh and elegant and is suitable not only as a reading light but also for atmospheric light in the living or sleeping area.

The tall, chintz-covered lampshade in subtle or bright colours emits its light softly through the openings at the top and bottom. The unusually large colour palette – from strong accent colours to harmonious earth tones – makes SlimSophie the perfect companion in any interior. The shade is carried by a base made of round steel with a glossy powder coating, which makes the light both light and stable.

Schalter and Light Bulb — flexibel konfigurierbar

The light bulb requires a standard E27 lamp holder, can be replaced at any time and makes the light future-proof. SlimSophie is available in two versions: with a foot switch on the floor cable or a pull switch directly on the lamp holder. Both versions are available with or without integrated Switch-to-Dim LED – a dimming system that works without a wall dimmer and cycles through three lighting moods via the switch itself:

• Full brightness – ideal zum Lesen und Arbeiten
• Cozy – cosy, subdued light for the evening
• Candlelight – warm glow, also suitable as a night light

The optional Switch-to-Dim LED delivers 800 lumens at 8 watts with a warm light colour of 2700 K and a colour rendering of Ra ≥ 95 — close to daylight quality. With a lifespan of 40,000 hours and a flicker value below 1%, it is also easy on the eyes for longer use.

Material & workmanship – Made in Europe

Fraumaier lights are made in Europe. The materials used are powder-coated steel, aluminium, textile and mouth-blown glass. Powder coatings are scratch-resistant and colourfast.
