MERCER C Ceiling Light

Design & inspiration of the Mercer

The Mercer comes from designer Joan Gaspar, who has created numerous icons for Marset. It is characterised by the contrast between the round, mouth-blown glass globe and the fine, technical metal structure that holds it. This combination of warmth and precision, craftsmanship and clean lines is typical of Marset’s thoughtful, emotional approach to design.

Finishes & colours

The Mercer C Ceiling Light is available in different finishes – for example with transparent or opal glass and a metal structure in different colours. This allows the light to be integrated into the room discreetly or as a striking accent. The combination of glass globe and slim holder always remains the defining feature – simply choose your preferred finish in the drop-down.

Light & technology

Material & workmanship

The Mercer combines high-quality, mouth-blown glass with a precisely made metal structure. The glass gives the light a warm, high-quality feel, while the slim holder ensures stability and clean lines. The handcrafted manufacture makes each light a carefully crafted design object with a long lifespan.

Use & effect

Eine Light with Glass-Charakter

The Mercer is particularly suitable where warm, soft glass light is meant to create atmosphere: above the dining table, on the sideboard, in the living or bedroom area or in restaurants. In combination with other Mercer lights – as pendant, table, wall or ceiling versions – a harmonious, consistent lighting concept can be created that makes rooms feel warm and inviting.

Care & installation

The Mercer can be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth. Because of the glass, we recommend careful handling and – for pendant and ceiling versions – installation by a qualified electrician to fix the light securely and align it optimally. This shows off the warm glass light of the Mercer to best effect.

Why the Mercer C Ceiling Light?
