Sips IP43 Table Lamp

Sips rechargeable light – portable battery light by Marset

The Sips Cordless Lamp by Marset creates small, warm islands of light – indoors and outdoors. As a cordless battery light, it can be placed freely and taken anywhere: onto the dining table, the sideboard, the bedside table, the windowsill or out onto the balcony and terrace. With its compact, friendly shape, the Sips gives a cosy light and becomes a charming, flexible companion everywhere.

Design & inspiration of the Sips

The Sips was designed by Christophe Mathieu, who has created several designs for Marset. The light is deliberately kept small, clear and uncomplicated, so it fits into any environment and can be taken anywhere. This combination of minimal form and everyday functionality is typical of Marset’s emotional, people-centred design approach.

Finishes & colours

The Sips Cordless Lamp is available in several colours, so it can blend in discreetly or add a fresh accent. Its compact, round shape always remains the focus. This means there is a suitable version for every style and situation – whether as a calm companion or a lively splash of colour. Simply choose your preferred colour from the dropdown.

Licht & Akku

Thanks to its integrated battery, the Sips shines completely cordless and can be placed freely indoors and in sheltered outdoor areas. It emits a warm, low-glare light that creates small, cosy islands of light. Once charged, the light is ready for portable lighting – ideal for balmy evenings, dinner outdoors or as an atmospheric additional light anywhere in the home.

Material & workmanship

The Sips is compact and carefully made. The robust design is suited to portable use and sheltered outdoor areas, while the clear shape gives it a high-quality, friendly look. The integrated battery and solid construction make the Sips an uncomplicated, long-lasting companion for many situations.

Use & effect

As a portable rechargeable light, the Sips is particularly versatile: as a warm light on the dining table, a gentle night light, an accent on the sideboard or a companion on the balcony and terrace. Without a cable, it can be positioned freely and creates a cosy island of light everywhere. Several Sips together quickly create an inviting, atmospheric ambience.

A light for indoors and outdoors

The Sips is suitable wherever flexible, warm light without a socket is needed: at dinner in the garden, as mood lighting on the coffee table, as a companion in the bathroom or as a small night light. Thanks to its battery and robust design, it moves effortlessly between indoors and outdoors and makes any place a little cosier – depending on your needs and the time of day.

Care & handling

The Sips could not be simpler: the housing can be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth. To charge it, simply connect the light to the charging cable; afterwards it is free to move again. This lets you use the Sips wherever warm, cordless light is wanted at the moment – with no installation and no effort.

Why the Sips Cordless Lamp?

The Sips combines Christophe Mathieu’s design with the freedom of a portable, cordless rechargeable light for indoors and outdoors. Instead of interchangeable mass-produced goods, you get a small light full of character that creates warm islands of light everywhere. If you are looking for flexible, atmospheric light with real design ambition, the Sips is a choice that brings joy every day.
