Cala Metal Floor Lamp

Cala Metal floor lamp – generous floor lamp by Marset

The Cala Metal Floor Lamp is the metal interpretation of the popular Cala model by Marset. With its generous fabric shade and slender, stable metal construction, it gives a warm, soft light while also becoming an elegant design element. Next to the sofa and armchair, in reading or living areas, the Cala Metal creates a cosy atmosphere and adds a calm, high-quality accent to the room.

Design & inspiration of the Cala Metal

The Cala originally became known with a wooden support structure; the Cala Metal transfers the same clear, calm design language to a version with a metal frame. The generous fabric shade remains the defining element: it diffuses the light softly and evenly and gives the light its homely effect. This way the Cala Metal combines the timeless elegance of the Cala family with a modern, technically clean look.

Finish & character

The Cala Metal Floor Lamp combines a slender metal frame with a voluminous fabric shade. This combination of cool metal and warm fabric ensures a balanced, harmonious appearance. The generous shade area makes the Cala Metal a floor lamp with presence that is never intrusive, fitting into both modern and classic living spaces, where it acts as a calm centrepiece.

Light & technology

The large fabric shade of the Cala Metal diffuses the light softly downwards and to the sides, creating a pleasant, low-glare light that is ideal as ambient and mood lighting. Placed next to a sofa or armchair or in a reading area, the floor lamp creates a cosy island of light. We recommend a warm white bulb for a particularly cosy light.

Material & workmanship

The Cala Metal is solidly made: the stable metal frame ensures stability and clear, technical lines, while the high-quality fabric shade stands for warmth and homeliness. Careful manufacturing gives the light a pleasant weight and a high-quality look. This way the Cala Metal is designed for long everyday use and remains a reliable companion for years.

Use & effect

As a generous floor lamp, the Cala Metal shows to good effect wherever a homely island of light is needed: next to the sofa, in the reading corner, in the bedroom or as a calm accent in the living area. Its soft light and clear shape create a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. Placed on its own, it becomes an elegant centrepiece that structures rooms without dominating them.

Care & installation

The Cala Metal is ready to use straight away: the metal frame can be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth, and the fabric shade can be carefully vacuumed from time to time. Thanks to its stable base, the light stands securely and can be placed flexibly in the room. This makes it easy to set up the Cala Metal wherever additional warm light is wanted – with no installation effort.

Why the Cala Metal Floor Lamp?

The Cala Metal combines the timeless elegance of the Cala family with a modern metal frame and a generous fabric shade. Instead of interchangeable mass-produced goods, you get a floor lamp full of character that combines warm, homely light with a clear shape. If you are looking for a calm, high-quality floor lamp with real design ambition, the Cala Metal is a long-lasting choice for the living area.
