Design & inspiration of the Ambrosia

The Ambrosia is a tribute to the classic Linestra tube, whose elongated, even line of light it translates into modern LED technology. The design studio Ciszak Dalmas originally designed the light for a luxury boutique in Madrid; together with Joan Gaspar, who has already created numerous icons for Marset, it became the final, production-ready Ambrosia. Its characteristic feature is the tension between the technical precision of the light tube and the warm, decorative effect of the light.

Finishes, sizes & colours

The Ambrosia Pendant Lamp is available in several lengths – from 120 cm to 180 cm and 210 cm up to 315 cm, each as a single version or combined with an additional 60 cm element for even more expansive installations above long tables. The finish is an elegant combination of matt gold and black that gives the light its refined, timeless character. This allows the Ambrosia to be matched exactly to the size of the room and length of the table – simply choose your preferred version from the dropdown.

Light & technology

The Ambrosia works with integrated LED technology and emits a warm, low-glare light along its entire length. The even band of light is ideal as decorative ambient lighting and as atmospheric accent lighting. The high-quality workmanship and precisely made support structure ensure a clean, floating installation and a long service life with no need to change bulbs.

The Ambrosia pendant lamp is made of high-quality materials: the slender light tube rests in a carefully crafted support structure whose matt gold contrasts with black details. Thanks to the different lengths and the optional 60 cm extension, the Ambrosia can be planned flexibly: above a dining table, a length of about two thirds of the table length looks particularly harmonious; in hallways, several lights hung in parallel create a clear, rhythmic line of light.

Care & installation

The Ambrosia is designed for uncomplicated everyday use: the surfaces can be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth, and thanks to the integrated, maintenance-free LED there is no need to change bulbs at all. The suspension allows clean height adjustment, so the light can be aligned exactly with the table or room. We recommend installation by a qualified electrician to bring out the floating effect of the light tube to its best and to ensure a secure, long-lasting fit.
