Woodstraps wall light – the layered light by Summumstudio for LZF Lamps

The Woodstraps Wall Light by LZF Lamps is a modern wood veneer sculpture designed by Summumstudio. The Woodstraps Wall Light , with its characteristic length of 146 cm, consists of pressed wood veneer „straps“ – finely crafted strips of real wood veneer that are joined by fixed buckles into an enveloping, pod-like form. The light flows outwards from the centre, and the layered construction creates a warm interplay of light and shadow.

The tagline „The layered light“ sums up the design principle: light unfolds in layers, through the semi-transparent veneer and along the precisely crafted strap structure. An architectural statement light for galleries, entrance areas, restaurants and prestigious spaces.

Integrierte LED-Technologie with Dimming-Optionen

The Woodstraps Wall Light is fitted with a high-quality integrated LED strip (15 W, 3000 K warm white, CRI >90). Choose your preferred dimming control:

• 0-10V-Dimming: common standard for commercial installations
• TRIAC-Dimming: kompatibel with klassischen Wand-Dimmern

Constant current driver 1100 mA, 50–60 Hz, 120–277 V input voltage.

Holzfurnier: Natural Cherry CHW 21

The Woodstraps family is available exclusively in the warm, lively veneer Natural Cherry (CHW 21) . The cherry grain gives the sculptural volume of the light a warm, organic feel. As wood veneer is a natural product, individual grain patterns and colour nuances are part of its character – every piece is unique.

About LZF Lamps – manufactory quality from Valencia

Since 1994, LZF Lamps has been making designer lights from real wood veneer in Valencia (Spain). Every Woodstraps light is made in an elaborate handcrafted process: the veneer is selected, cut, soaked, shaped and sealed – step by step by experienced craftspeople. The result: a light that not only provides light but also acts as a sculptural object.
