Orbit Wall Light

Orbit wall light – the thoughtful light by Miguel Herranz for LZF Lamps

The Orbit Wall Light by LZF Lamps is a timeless classic by Spanish designer Miguel Herranz. The Orbit Wall Light is available in two sizes (Mini 19 × 17 × 26 cm and Medium 25 × 19 × 36 cm) and ten FSC wood veneers – from subtle natural tones to vibrant colour accents.

The Orbit Wall Light is a classic in the range of LZF Lamps. Spanish designer Miguel Herranz has created a simple, oval-like form that decorates any wall with calm self-confidence. The form is created by twisting a single piece of wood veneer – depending on the direction of the twist, two possible designs emerge.

The light of the Orbit is diffused both upwards and downwards through the two openings, while an inner glow radiates outwards and emphasises the natural beauty of the wood grain. Just as the earth orbits the sun, the light orbits the Orbit – a calm, contemplative wall light for bedrooms, hotel rooms, hallways and living areas.

Zwei Größen: Mini und Medium

The Orbit wall light is available in two sizes – both with the characteristic twisted form:

• Mini (19 × 17 × H 26 cm, 0.2 kg) – the compact version, ideal for reading light or smaller areas. Light bulb: 1× GX53 LED Slim 7 W dimmable
• Medium (25 × 19 × H 36 cm, 0.6 kg) – the classic original format. Light bulb: 1× E27 LED 7 W dimmable

Both sizes deliver 520 lm of warm white light and are dimmable (matching dimmer available separately).

Zehn Holzfurniere – natürlich und farbig

The Orbit wall light is available in ten FSC-certified wood veneers – from subtle natural tones to vibrant colour accents:

As wood veneer is a natural material, individual grain patterns and small colour nuances are part of every light’s character – no two pieces are alike.

About LZF Lamps – manufactory quality from Valencia

Since 1994, LZF Lamps has been making designer lights from real wood veneer in Valencia (Spain). With their vision of establishing translucent wood veneer as the main material in lighting production, founders Mariví Calvo and Sandro Tothill created a unique manufactory brand. Every LZF light is made in an elaborate handcrafted process: the veneer is selected, cut, soaked, shaped and sealed – step by step by experienced craftspeople.

The result: lights that not only provide light but also act as sculptural objects. When switched on, the natural grain of the wood becomes a warm play of shadows on walls and ceilings. As wood is a natural product, no LZF light is exactly like the next – each piece is unique with its own character.

LZF works with renowned designers worldwide, including Burkhard Dämmer, Mariví Calvo, Ray Power, Miguel Herranz, Bodo Sperlein and many more. The collection includes pendant lights, floor lamps, table lamps, wall lights and special series for hotels, restaurants and prestigious spaces. All products are FSC-certified and carry the CE mark.

At DesignOrt you will find a carefully curated selection of the LZF collection in all available wood veneers – from subtle natural tones to vibrant colour accents. Let yourself be inspired by the warmth and elegance of these special lights.
