Oh! Line pendant light – wood veneer designer light by LZF Lamps
The Oh! Line Pendant Light by LZF Lamps is a handmade pendant light made of thin, translucent wood veneer. By day a sculptural design object with a lively grain – switched on, a warmly glowing light sculpture that bathes the room in soft, filtered light. With its slim, circular lines, Oh! Line is “the svelte light”.
Design – Burkhard Dämmer & Mariví Calvo
Oh! Line was designed by Burkhard Dämmer and Mariví Calvo for LZF Lamps. The reduced, graphic form emphasises the natural beauty of the wood veneer and blends elegantly into modern and classic spaces.
Material & workmanship – the LZF manufactory
The wood veneer used is only a few tenths of a millimetre thin – so thin that the light shines through and the natural grain becomes visible. Using LZF’s in-house technique, the veneer sheets are pressed, hardened, cut and shaped by hand. Every shade is unique.
