The Pendant Light Fittingly, FM 1954 dates from the year 1954. The architects and designers Friis & Moltke designed a designer light that is versatile in material and form. Today the Danish label Frandsen carries this pendant lamp in three sizes.
The lampshade of the FM 1954 is made of metal and drum-shaped. Thanks to the light-coloured inside, the light is additionally reflected and shines powerfully. On top of the shade is the ingenious suspension: a round plate carries a small round rod on top that leads to the cable. The plate itself is smaller than the lampshade, so some extra light escapes upwards into the room at the sides. The shade is attached with small round rods that branch off from the plate; they pierce the lampshade slightly and provide an additional eye-catcher.
The two larger pendant lamps are ideal for lighting tables. The smaller version looks like a long, elegant cylinder and can create small islands of light in the room. With its mid-century design and matt surface, this Scandinavian designer lamp suits a wide variety of interior styles.
