The Ginger Metall Pendant Light extends the popular Ginger series by Marset with a version with a metal shade. Instead of wood veneer, brushed aluminium is used here, giving the familiar Ginger shape a cooler, more technical character. Above a dining table, counter or kitchen island, the Ginger Metal gives a warm, directed light and becomes a clear, modern eye-catcher in living spaces, restaurants and hotels.

The Ginger comes from the designer Joan Gaspar, who has created numerous icons for Marset. Its distinctive feature is the flat, disc-shaped shade, whose light interior creates a particularly warm, soft light. While the classic Ginger uses wood veneer, the Ginger Metal translates the same clear design language into brushed aluminium, opening up new applications within the Ginger family.

The Ginger Metall Pendant Light is available with a shade made of brushed aluminium – including white or black-white and other metallic finishes – and in different sizes. This lets you put the light together freely, from a discreet single light to a multi-part composition above long surfaces, and match it to your interior. Simply choose your preferred version from the dropdown.

The disc-shaped metal shade of the Ginger Metal focuses the light downwards and provides pleasant, low-glare light over the table and seating area, while the light interior ensures a warm light. This makes the Ginger Metal ideal as main lighting above the dining table and as a decorative designer light. We recommend a warm white bulb for a particularly cosy light.

The Ginger Metal is carefully made: the brushed aluminium shade gives the light a clear, technical yet high-quality look. The clean suspension and precise manufacturing ensure a harmonious overall look and a long service life. This keeps the Ginger Metal a high-quality, modern eye-catcher in the room for many years.

Above the dining table, the Ginger Metal becomes the central focal point; in a group at different heights, it creates a lively lighting composition. In restaurants, cafés and open-plan kitchen-diners, the metal shade adds a clear, modern accent. The different sizes and versions make the Ginger Metal versatile to combine and suitable for a wide variety of room situations.

The Ginger Metal can be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth. We recommend installation by a qualified electrician to fix the light securely and set the ideal height above the table. This shows off the directed, warm light to its best and keeps the light securely mounted in the long term.

The Ginger Metal combines Joan Gaspar’s iconic Ginger design with the clear, modern character of an aluminium shade. Instead of interchangeable mass-produced goods, you get a pendant light full of character that combines directed task lighting with decorative effect – in several sizes and versions. If you are looking for a modern, elegant lighting centrepiece with real design ambition, the Ginger Metal is a long-lasting choice.

As a specialist online shop for designer lights, we deliver the Ginger Metall Pendant Light and all other Marset lights free of shipping within Germany for orders over €300.
